Founder, Magic Flames · Tampa, Florida
Tyk Sullivan founded Magic Flames and runs it as a deliberately small consumer brand built around a single product.
Magic Flames sells sealed mineral packets that turn a wood fire blue, green and purple. Sullivan launched it as a seasonal product for TikTok Shop, where the category already had an audience and where a packet thrown into a fire demonstrates itself in a few seconds of video. The brief was as much operational as commercial. He wanted direct experience with how TikTok Shop works, how creator-led marketing performs when the product does the selling, and how quickly a simple physical item can move from idea to shipping.
That shaped most of the decisions here. One product in four pack sizes rather than a catalogue. A short path from seeing it to buying it. Claims kept narrower than the category norm, which is why the site says 30 to 45 minutes of color rather than the hour that competing listings advertise, and why "wood fires only" appears on every page instead of in a returns email. Sullivan treats the brand as a working test of how fast a small team can launch, learn and correct.
Sullivan is a serial entrepreneur based in Tampa, Florida, and has been building companies since high school. He is the founder of Plutus Capital, a private investment firm in Tampa focused on financial markets and digital assets, and of NUMEN, a premium supplement brand. He also founded Vigor Strength, a premium lifestyle gym apparel brand whose original line was featured on The Ellen Show.
